The TOTO Drake II is a two-piece toilet with a round front bowl and high-profile tank. Confirm these essentials before ordering:

  • Rough-in measurement: 12-inch standard. This is the distance from the wall to the center of the floor drain.
  • Floor clearance: 21 inches in front of the bowl, 15 inches on each side for comfortable use and cleaning access.
  • Water supply: Standard ½-inch connection at the base of the toilet (supply line sold separately).

Installation steps

  1. Prep. Shut off the water supply, flush to empty the tank, then disconnect the supply line.
  2. Remove the old toilet. Unbolt from the floor and scrape the old wax ring from the flange.
  3. Set the wax ring. Place a new wax ring on the flange, centered over the drain opening.
  4. Seat the bowl. Lower the bowl onto the flange, press down firmly, and hand-tighten the bolts evenly.
  5. Attach the tank. Position the tank on the bowl, align the bolts, and tighten in a figure-eight pattern for even pressure.
