1.28 GPF or 1.0 GPF

Choose the 1.0 GPF Glaston 1G if you want the lowest flush volume TOTO offers on this line, and the 1.28 GPF Glaston otherwise. Both use TORNADO FLUSH and both sit on the same skirted elongated bowl; what changes is the tank — CST472CEFG at 1.28 GPF (4.8 LPF), CST472CUFG at 1.0 GPF (3.8 LPF), which TOTO calls an "ultra high-efficiency TORNADO FLUSH system." If low flush volume is the priority, compare the rest of the store's 1.0 GPF toilets; if you would rather stay with the more common volume, the 1.28 GPF range is much wider.

Rough-in: measure before you order

The Glaston is built for a 12-inch rough-in as standard, and TOTO lists optional 10-inch and 14-inch configurations for the line. Measure from the finished wall behind the toilet to the center of the closet bolts in the floor — to the wall itself, not to the baseboard. The WASHLET+ sets sold here are the 12-inch version, with 10-inch and 14-inch installations handled by an adapter sold separately. Power, water and floor clearance

A Glaston WASHLET+ set needs a GFCI 120V outlet within 3 feet of the toilet and a standard 1/2-inch water supply connection at the base.
