HSA/FSA administrators require an LMN to reimburse purchases of items like bidets. Truemed's licensed providers issue the LMN after reviewing your health survey responses.

What if I use a regular credit or debit card?

You can still qualify. If you pay with a credit or debit card through Truemed, you'll receive your Letter of Medical Necessity by email along with instructions on how to submit it to your HSA/FSA administrator for reimbursement. The savings work the same way — you're just getting reimbursed from your HSA/FSA after the fact rather than paying with HSA/FSA dollars directly.

Are bidets covered by health insurance?

If you qualify, your Letter of Medical Necessity is typically emailed within 48 hours of completing the health survey. If you paid with an HSA/FSA card directly, the LMN is generally delivered immediately after the survey.

Why do I need to check out as a guest instead of using Shop Pay?
