How Does a Deodorizer Work on a Bidet?
A deodorizer on a bidet works by pulling air out of the toilet bowl and passing it through a carbon filter before it reaches the room. What a deodorizer will not do
A deodorizer is not a room freshener and not a substitute for cleaning. It works only on air moving through the seat, so it does nothing for a bathroom that already smells, or for odor coming off a dirty bowl or an unwiped nozzle. It also needs power: drawing air through a filter is not something water pressure can do, which is why every seat here is electric and why non-electric attachments cannot offer it.

1. Confirm the model actually has one

2. Match the seat to your bowl
Measure from the two seat-bolt holes at the back of the bowl to the front rim. Roughly 16.5 inches means a round bowl; roughly 18.5 inches means elongated. Why a Bidet Seat Starts to Smell
A bidet seat starts to smell when residue builds up somewhere the deodorizer cannot reach — usually the nozzle, the underside of the seat, or the mounting area behind the bowl.
