The TOTO Aquia IV WASHLET+ S5 Two-piece Toilet pairs a completely skirted two-piece body and dual-flush DYNAMAX TORNADO FLUSH® with the WASHLET+ S5, which is the first tier in the range to bring a wireless remote.

The multifunction remote stores its own settings for up to four people, so a shared bathroom stops being a negotiation over water temperature and pressure, and nobody has to reset the seat after somebody else has used it.

The TOTO Aquia IV WASHLET+ S5 is a two-piece smart toilet with an elongated bowl and integrated bidet seat. Confirm these four things before ordering:

  • Rough-in measurement: 12 inches standard. 10" and 14" rough-in supported with TSU01W adapter (sold separately).
  • Floor clearance: 21 inches in front of the bowl, 15 inches on each side.
  • Water supply: Standard ½-inch connection at the base. Concealed supply connection for seamless installation.
  • Electrical outlet: GFCI 120V within 3 feet (powers WASHLET+ S5 bidet seat with heated functions).

Installation steps

  1. Prep. Shut off the water supply, flush to empty the tank, then disconnect the supply line.
  2. Remove the old toilet. Unbolt from the floor and scrape the old wax ring from the flange.
  3. Set the wax ring. Place a new wax ring on the flange, centered over the drain.
  4. Seat the bowl. Lower the bowl onto the flange, press down firmly, and hand-tighten the bolts evenly.
  5. Attach the tank. Bolt the tank to the bowl using the hardware provided, then reconnect the supply line.
