Which Toilets Are Compatible With a TOTO WASHLET?

  • Bowl shape. An elongated bowl needs an elongated WASHLET and a round-front bowl needs a round-front WASHLET. Measure from the seat bolts to the front rim: about 16.5 inches is round, about 18.5 inches is elongated.
  • Bolt spacing. You need roughly 5-1/2 inches between the centers of the two mounting holes.
  • Clearance behind the bowl. TOTO wants at least 2 inches from the front of the tank to the center of the mounting holes on an elongated bowl, and between 1-3/4 and 2-1/2 inches on a round-front bowl depending on the WASHLET model, plus a minimum of 8 inches of open space from the toilet's center to the edge of the bowl's flat surface. A French-curve toilet may prevent installation.
  • Power. A GFCI outlet within three feet of the toilet.

TOTO's Drake two-piece uses the TORNADO FLUSH system, where two nozzles create a centrifugal, cyclonic rinsing action, at 1.28 GPF with CEFIONTECT glaze on the bowl.
