TOTO Aurora Washlet+ S5 — MW6863446CEFG#01

The TOTO Aurora Washlet+ S5 pairs the one-piece, completely skirted Aurora toilet with the Washlet S5 bidet seat, flushing at 1.28 GPF on TOTO's INTEGRAVITY SYSTEM™.

The S5 covers the same core Washlet cleansing and comfort functions as the S2, and is operated from a wireless remote control with personalized memory settings for up to four users rather than a panel on the seat.

  • Toilet Type: One-piece Washlet+ toilet
  • Bowl Shape: Elongated, completely skirted
  • Flush: INTEGRAVITY SYSTEM™ — 1.28 GPF (4.8 LPF)
  • Rough-In: 12" (10" and 14" options available at additional cost)
  • Seat Height: 17 9/16"
  • Included Washlet: Washlet S5
  • Controls: Wireless remote, memory settings for up to 4 users

INTEGRAVITY SYSTEM™

The Aurora's gravity-driven flush engine sequences the rim wash and the siphon jet through a dual-tank, dual-valve architecture. TOTO states it rinses the bowl 5× longer compared with conventional toilets.

Completely Skirted Washlet+ Design

The Aurora is one-piece and completely skirted. Washlet+ adds a concealed supply connection, so no protruding pipes or cords show between the toilet and the seat.

CEFIONTECT® and PREMIST®

CEFIONTECT is a ceramic glaze that prevents debris and mold from sticking. PREMIST wets the bowl surface, aiding in the removal of waste.

Instantaneous Warm-Water Cleansing

Washes front and rear with oscillating and pulsating modes. Spray position, water temperature and water pressure are adjustable, and water is heated on demand rather than stored.

Heated Seat and Warm-Air Dryer

Seat temperature is adjustable, and the warm-air dryer offers three settings — the count TOTO gives the S2 and the S5.

Wireless Remote + 4-User Memory

The S5 is operated from a multifunction wireless remote control that holds personalized memory settings for up to four users.

TOTO Aurora S5 Installation

TOTO Aurora WASHLET+ S5 One-Piece Toilet - 1.28 GPF dimensions

TOTO Aurora S5 Compatibility

The TOTO Aurora WASHLET+ is a one-piece smart toilet with an integrated bidet seat. Confirm these four things before ordering:

  • Rough-in measurement: 12-inch standard. 10"/14" supported with TSU01W adapter (sold separately).
  • Floor clearance: 21 inches in front of the bowl, 15 inches on each side.
  • Water supply: Standard ½-inch connection at the base of the toilet.
  • Electrical outlet: GFCI 120V within 3 feet (powers integrated WASHLET+ bidet seat).

Installation steps

  1. Prep. Shut off the water supply, flush to empty the tank, then disconnect the supply line.
  2. Remove the old toilet. Unbolt from the floor and scrape the old wax ring from the flange.
  3. Set the wax ring. Place a new wax ring on the flange, centered over the drain.
  4. Seat the new toilet. Lower onto the flange, press down firmly, and hand-tighten the bolts evenly.
  5. Connect and test. Reconnect the supply line, restore water, and plug into the GFCI outlet.

Frequently Asked Questions about TOTO Aurora S5

What is the difference between the WASHLET S5 and the S2?

Two things. The S5 uses a wireless remote with memory for four users in place of the S2’s arm-mounted control panel, and its seat body is seamless rather than standard. Instant warm water, PREMIST, EWATER+ wand cleaning, the deodorizer, the heated seat, the dryer and the night light are the same on both.

What does the WASHLET S7 add over the S5?

EWATER+ misting inside the bowl as well as on the wand, plus a button to trigger it by hand; a fourth wash mode; water adjustable down to 86°F rather than 95°F; a five-setting dryer in place of three; a high-output deodorizer mode; an auto-sensing night light; and a slimmer 4.1-inch seat.

Should I choose the 1.28 GPF Aurora or the other version?

The two are only about twelve dollars apart, so this is not a cost decision. Choose 1.28 GPF if you have a long horizontal drain run with minimal fall, older cast-iron pipe, or this is the only fixture on that branch, because an ultra-low-flow toilet has less water available to carry solids the full distance. Otherwise the 1.0 GPF Aurora 1G is fine and uses roughly 22% less water per flush.

What makes a WASHLET+ toilet different from a standard bidet seat installation?

WASHLET+ is a matched pair. The bowl has a channel cast into the back of it, and the seat runs its power cord and water hose rearward into that channel rather than out of the side. Nothing is visible from the front or the side. An ordinary bidet seat added later will work on this bowl, but its cord and hose will run across the skirt in plain view.

What are the downsides of the Aurora WASHLET+ S5?

The main limitations are that INTEGRAVITY launched in February 2026 and has no long-term field record yet, the warranty is one year rather than the two or three some competitors offer, and the toilet ships with a left-hand trip lever, so ADA compliance requires either a right-hand lever or auto flush. The Ebony finish also ships without CEFIONTECT glaze while costing more than Cotton White. At 132 lbs boxed this is a two-person installation.

What Makes the TOTO Aurora One-Piece Design Different?

The Aurora is a one-piece design with an elongated bowl.

TOTO describes the exterior as a completely skirted design, giving a sleek and understated look that's easier to clean.

The Washlet+ pairing uses a concealed supply connection, so there are no protruding pipes or cords between the toilet and the seat.

It fits a standard 12-inch rough-in, and 10-inch and 14-inch options are available at additional cost.

  • One-piece design with elongated bowl
  • Completely skirted exterior, easier to clean
  • Washlet+ connection is concealed

What Makes the Aurora's INTEGRAVITY Flush Different?

The flush engine is TOTO's INTEGRAVITY SYSTEM™, which TOTO states is exclusive to the Aurora.

It uses a dual-tank, dual-valve architecture that sequences the rim wash and the siphon jet.

At 1.28 GPF, TOTO states that INTEGRAVITY rinses the bowl 5× longer compared with conventional toilets.

TORNADO FLUSH® delivers that water through two nozzles, creating a centrifugal, cyclonic rinsing action across a hole-free rim.

CEFIONTECT® glaze keeps debris from sticking to the ceramic, and PREMIST® wets the bowl before use.

  • Dual-tank and dual-valve architecture
  • Rim wash and siphon jet, sequenced
  • Two nozzles, hole-free rim

What Does the Washlet S5 Add?

The Washlet S5 washes front and rear, with oscillating and pulsating modes.

Spray position, temperature and pressure are adjustable, and water is heated on demand rather than stored in a warm-water tank.

The seat is heated with its own temperature control, and the dryer has three warm-air settings.

A multifunction wireless remote control holds personalized memory settings for up to four users.

EWATER+® keeps the wand hygienic, the wand cleans itself, and an automatic air deodorizer is built in.

  • Three dryer settings, heated seat
  • Wireless remote, memory for four users
  • EWATER+® hygiene for the wand

Which TOTO Aurora Washlet Should You Choose: S2, S5, S7 or S7A?

All four use the same 1.28 GPF Aurora toilet, so the main choice is which Washlet goes on top.

All four share the core cleansing and comfort functions: washing, instantaneous heating, a heated seat and a dryer.

  • Choose the S2 if… you want the core Washlet cleansing and comfort functions and are comfortable using the arm-mounted control panel.
  • Choose the S5 if… you want that core experience with a wireless remote and memory for up to four users.
  • Choose the S7 if… you want five dryer settings instead of three, and EWATER+® cleaning for both the wand and the bowl.
  • Choose the S7A if… you want the S7 feature set plus the touchless automatic open/close lid.
  • S2 → S5: arm panel becomes a wireless remote with 4-user memory.
  • S5 → S7: three dryer settings become five, and EWATER+® adds bowl cleaning.
  • S7 → S7A: adds the touchless automatic open/close lid.

Separate auto-flush Aurora configurations are available for S7 and S7A; the four SKUs covered here do not include auto flush.

What do you get with the TOTO Aurora Washlet+ S5?

The TOTO Aurora Washlet+ S5 is sold as a single combination SKU, MW6863446CEFG#01, pairing the Aurora one-piece toilet with the Washlet S5 in Cotton.

Flush volume is 1.28 GPF, and the standard 12-inch rough-in can be changed to 10-inch or 14-inch at additional cost.

This is the Aurora configuration for a buyer who wants the core Washlet functions with a wireless remote and user memory.
