The Nexus WASHLET+ S5 is a two-piece elongated toilet with integrated bidet. Verify these five measurements before installation.

  • Rough-in measurement: 12-inch standard, with a 14-inch option available. A 10-inch rough-in is not available for this model.
  • Bowl shape: Elongated bowl only. Measure the distance from the seat bolt holes to the front of the bowl to confirm elongated fitment.
  • Floor clearance: Allow at least 21 inches of clear space in front of the toilet for lid lift and bidet access.
  • Electrical outlet: GFCI 120V outlet required within 3 feet of the toilet for the WASHLET+ and bidet heater.
  • Drain configuration: Floor-mounted drain only. Wall-hung or ceiling-mounted drains are not compatible.

Installation steps

  1. Prep. Shut off the water supply, flush to empty the tank, and remove the old toilet completely.
  2. Set the wax ring. Clean the floor flange, place a new wax ring centered on the flange opening, and check for debris.
  3. Seat the new toilet. Align the Nexus onto the wax ring, press down firmly, and bolt the base to the floor flange.
  4. Connect the water and waste. Attach the fill valve inlet line, route the WASHLET+ supply hose to the T-connector, and restore water pressure.
  5. Power up and test. Plug the WASHLET+ into the GFCI outlet, test flush and bidet functions, and check for leaks around bolts and connections.
