TOTO Nexus WASHLET+ S5 — MW4423446CEFG#01

The TOTO Nexus WASHLET+ S5 Two-Piece Toilet pairs a completely skirted two-piece body flushing at 1.28 GPF on TORNADO FLUSH® with the WASHLET+ S5 and the wireless remote that stores each user's settings.

The remote stores its own settings for up to four people, so a shared bathroom stops being a negotiation over water temperature and pressure, and nobody has to reset the seat after somebody else has used it.

Toilet Type: Two-piece WASHLET+ toilet
Height: Universal Height
Bowl Shape: Elongated, completely skirted
Flush: High-efficiency TORNADO FLUSH® — single 1.28 GPF (4.8 LPF)
Rough-In: 12" standard; 14" option available
Included WASHLET: WASHLET+ S5 (SW3446)
Controls: Multifunction remote, memory for up to 4 users
Auto Flush: Not included — TOTO lists no auto-flush kit for this combination

High-efficiency TORNADO FLUSH®

TOTO's TORNADO FLUSH rinses the bowl on a single 1.28 GPF flush, which TOTO classes as high-efficiency.

CEFIONTECT® Ceramic Glaze

CEFIONTECT minimizes waste sticking to porous ceramic surfaces, which supports easier bowl cleaning between flushes.

Completely Skirted WASHLET+ Design

The skirted exterior gives you a flat surface to wipe rather than a contoured trapway, and the WASHLET+ connection conceals the seat's supply line.

Adjustable Warm-Water Cleansing

Front and rear washing uses aerated warm water, oscillating and pulsating, with spray position, temperature and pressure all adjusting independently.

Heated Seat and Three-Setting Dryer

The seat is heated with its own temperature control, and the warm-air dryer offers three variable temperature settings.

Wireless Remote with Four-User Memory

The wireless remote stores personalized settings for up to four users, so each person gets their own temperature and pressure without resetting anything.

TOTO Nexus S5 MW4423446CEFG#01 Installation

Toto Nexus WASHLET + S5 Two-Piece Toilet - 1.28 GPF Compatibility

The Nexus WASHLET+ S5 is a two-piece elongated toilet with integrated bidet. Verify these five measurements before installation.

Rough-in measurement: 12-inch standard, with a 14-inch option available. A 10-inch rough-in is not available for this model.
Bowl shape: Elongated bowl only. Measure the distance from the seat bolt holes to the front of the bowl to confirm elongated fitment.
Floor clearance: Allow at least 21 inches of clear space in front of the toilet for lid lift and bidet access.
Electrical outlet: GFCI 120V outlet required within 3 feet of the toilet for the WASHLET+ and bidet heater.
Drain configuration: Floor-mounted drain only. Wall-hung or ceiling-mounted drains are not compatible.

Installation steps

Prep. Shut off the water supply, flush to empty the tank, and remove the old toilet completely.
Set the wax ring. Clean the floor flange, place a new wax ring centered on the flange opening, and check for debris.
Seat the new toilet. Align the Nexus onto the wax ring, press down firmly, and bolt the base to the floor flange.
Connect the water and waste. Attach the fill valve inlet line, route the WASHLET+ supply hose to the T-connector, and restore water pressure.
Power up and test. Plug the WASHLET+ into the GFCI outlet, test flush and bidet functions, and check for leaks around bolts and connections.

Toto Nexus WASHLET + S5 Two-Piece Toilet - 1.28 GPF

TORNADO FLUSH® at 1.28 GPF

TOTO builds this Nexus on its TORNADO FLUSH system, which the sheet describes as high-efficiency at 1.28 GPF.

This is a single-flush toilet: one volume, 1.28 GPF (4.8 LPF), with no reduced-flush setting to choose between.

The flush is operated by a chrome plated trip lever on the side of the tank, the trap measures 2-1/8" across, and the bowl sets on a standard 12" rough-in with a 14" option.

TOTO describes the completely skirted design as a sleek and understated look that is easier to clean, with no contoured trapway to wipe around.

Spray position, water temperature and water pressure each adjust on their own, and the water range runs 95ºF–104ºF.

An instantaneous water heater supplies continuous warm water, the seat is heated across 82ºF–97ºF, and the warm air dryer offers three variable settings.
