TOTO WASHLET S5 Compatibility

The TOTO WASHLET S5 works with most standard toilets. Confirm these four things before ordering:

  • Bowl shape: Available in round and elongated versions. Order the version that matches your toilet's bowl shape.
  • Tank profile: Your tank should meet the bowl at roughly a 90° angle. French curve tanks that slope into the bowl are not compatible.
  • Mounting hole spacing: Measure between the two seat bolt holes at the back of your bowl. They should be 5.5 inches apart.
  • Tank clearance: You need at least 2 inches of flat space between the front of the tank and the seat mounting holes.

For reference: The S5 fits most one-piece and two-piece toilets with standard mounting holes.

Installation steps

  1. Remove old seat. Clean the surface around the mounting holes.
  2. Install the seat mounting bracket.
  3. Slide the Washlet onto the bracket.
  4. Connect the hose.
