The TOTO Nexus is an elongated, two-piece toilet with a 12-inch rough-in. Confirm these three things before ordering:

  • Floor clearance: 21 inches in front of the bowl, 15 inches on each side for safe movement.
  • Water supply: Standard ½-inch connection at the base of the toilet.

Installation steps

  1. Prep. Shut off the water supply, flush to empty the tank, then disconnect the supply line.
  2. Remove the old toilet. Unbolt from the floor and scrape the old wax ring from the flange.

  4. Seat the new toilet. Lower onto the flange, press down firmly, and hand-tighten the bolts evenly.
