TOTO Nexus Two-Piece Elongated Universal Height Toilet Compatibility

The TOTO Nexus is an elongated, two-piece toilet with universal height seating. Confirm these four things before ordering:

  • Rough-in measurement: 12-inch standard (the most common floor drain configuration).
  • Floor clearance: 21 inches in front of the bowl, 15 inches on each side.
  • Water supply: Standard ½-inch connection at the base of the toilet.
  • Seat compatibility: Seat sold separately. Standard elongated toilets seats fit this bowl.

Installation steps

  1. Prep. Shut off the water supply, flush to empty the tank, then disconnect the supply line.
  2. Remove the old toilet. Unbolt from the floor and scrape the old wax ring from the flange.
  3. Set the wax ring. Place a new wax ring on the flange, centered over the drain.
  4. Seat the bowl. Lower the bowl onto the flange, press down firmly, and hand-tighten the bolts evenly.
  5. Attach the tank. Bolt the tank to the bowl using the rubber gasket and bolts provided, then reconnect the supply line.
