Brondell Swash 1400 Luxury Bidet Seat Compatibility

The Swash 1400 works with both round and elongated toilets. Confirm these four things before ordering:

Bowl shape: Available in round or elongated versions. Choose the model that matches your toilet bowl.
Mounting hole spacing: Measure the distance between seat bolt holes; must be 5.25 to 8 inches apart.
Tank clearance: At least 1.5 inches minimum between the mounting holes and tank front; 2 inches recommended.
Tank profile: Tank must meet the bowl at roughly 90°. French curve tanks are not compatible.

Installation steps

Prep the toilet. Remove the old seat, clean around mounting holes, shut off water, and flush to empty the tank.
Mount the bracket. Install the mounting bracket with rubber sleeves and bolts, tightening evenly to secure.
Attach the seat. Slide the Swash 1400 onto the bracket until it clicks into place and test for stability.
Connect the water. Link the T-connector and supply hose to the tank inlet; turn on water and check for leaks.
Power up and test. Plug the seat into a GFCI outlet within 3.5 feet and test all spray and heating functions.
