The Galaxy GB-5000 works with most 1- and 2-piece toilets in round or elongated. Confirm these four things before ordering:

  • Bowl shape: Available in round or elongated. Order the size that matches your toilet bowl.
  • Mounting hole spacing: Mounting holes must be exactly 5.5 inches apart. Spacing is not adjustable.
  • Tank clearance: At least 1.75 inches of clearance required between the mounting holes and tank front.
  • Tank profile: Fits most 1-piece toilets including some French curve models like Kohler San Raphael; does not fit Kohler Rialto.

Installation steps

  1. Prep the toilet. Remove the old seat, clean around the mounting holes, shut off the water, and flush.
  2. Mount the bracket. Install the mounting plate with rubber sleeves and bolts; tighten firmly but do not over-torque.
  3. Attach the seat. Slide the GB-5000 onto the mounting plate until it locks into place.
  4. Connect the water. Attach the T-connector and bidet supply hose to the water inlet; restore water and check for leaks.
  5. Power up and test. Plug the seat into a GFCI outlet within 3 feet of the toilet and test all functions.
