What is the difference between the WASHLET S7A and the S7?

What makes a WASHLET+ toilet different from a standard bidet seat installation?

WASHLET+ is a matched pair. The bowl has a channel cast into the back of it, and the seat runs its power cord and water hose rearward into that channel rather than out of the side. Installation steps

Prep. Shut off the water supply, flush to empty the tank, then disconnect the supply line.
Remove the old toilet. Unbolt from the floor and scrape the old wax ring from the flange.
Set the wax ring. Place a new wax ring on the flange, centered over the drain.
Seat the new toilet. Lower onto the flange, press down firmly, and hand-tighten the bolts evenly.
Connect and test. Reconnect the supply line, restore water, and plug the WASHLET+ into the GFCI outlet.
