The TOTO Drake II is a two-piece, elongated toilet with a 12-inch rough-in. Confirm these measurements before ordering:

  • Rough-in measurement: 12-inch standard. This is the distance from the wall to the center of the floor drain.
  • Floor clearance: 21 inches in front of the bowl, 15 inches on each side for comfortable use and cleaning.
  • Water supply: Standard ½-inch connection at the base of the toilet tank.

Installation steps

  1. Prep. Shut off the water supply, flush to empty the tank, then disconnect the supply line.
  2. Remove the old toilet. Unbolt from the floor and scrape the old wax ring from the flange.
  3. Set the wax ring. Place a new wax ring on the flange, centered over the drain opening.
  4. Seat the bowl and attach the tank. Lower the bowl onto the flange, press down firmly, hand-tighten bolts evenly, then bolt the tank to the bowl.
  5. Connect and test. Reconnect the supply line, restore water, and test the flush and fill cycles for leaks.
