TOTO Glaston 1G WASHLET+

The TOTO Glaston 1G WASHLET+ is a completely skirted, Universal Height two-piece that flushes once at 1.0 GPF on ultra high-efficiency TORNADO FLUSH®, sold with your choice of four WASHLET+ bidet seats.

The toilet underneath is the same whichever you choose — same bowl, same tank, same flush. What changes is the seat: how far EWATER+ reaches, what the controls look like, and whether the lid opens on its own.

Toilet Type: Two-piece WASHLET+ toilet
Height: Universal Height
Bowl Shape: Elongated, completely skirted
Flush: Ultra high-efficiency TORNADO FLUSH® — single 1.0 GPF (3.8 LPF)
Rough-In: 12" standard; 10" and 14" optional
WASHLET Options: WASHLET+ S2, S5, S7 or S7A — selected as a variant on this listing
Trap Diameter: 2-1/8"
Auto Flush: A choice on the S7 and S7A — Auto Flush or No Auto Flush, selected on this listing. The auto-flush model adds TOTO's THU856 Auto Flush Kit. The S2 and S5 sheets list no auto-flush kit at all

Ultra high-efficiency TORNADO FLUSH®

TOTO's TORNADO FLUSH rinses the bowl on a single 1.0 GPF flush, which TOTO classes as ultra high-efficiency.

CEFIONTECT® Ceramic Glaze

On the Glaston sheets TOTO states that CEFIONTECT ceramic glaze prevents debris and mold from sticking to ceramic surfaces.

Completely Skirted at Universal Height

The skirted exterior gives you a flat surface to wipe instead of a contoured trapway, and TOTO lists the Glaston at Universal Height.

Four WASHLET+ Tiers on One Toilet

S2, S5, S7 and S7A all fit this same Glaston body, so the decision is about the seat you want rather than which toilet to buy.

Warm-Water Cleansing on Every Tier

All four seats cleanse front and rear with gentle aerated warm water, with oscillating and pulsating modes and adjustable position, temperature and pressure.

Heated Seat and Warm-Air Dryer on Every Tier

Every tier has a heated seat with its own temperature control and a warm-air dryer; the S7 and S7A step up from three dryer settings to five.

TOTO Glaston 1G WASHLET+ Two-Piece Toilet - 1.0 GPF dimensions

TOTO Glaston 1G WASHLET+ Two-Piece Toilet - 1.0 GPF Compatibility

The TOTO Glaston 1G WASHLET+ is a two-piece smart toilet with an integrated bidet seat. Confirm these four things before ordering:

Rough-in measurement: 12-inch standard. 10"/14" supported with TSU01W adapter (sold separately).
Floor clearance: 21 inches in front of the bowl, 15 inches on each side.
Water supply: Standard ½-inch connection at the base of the toilet for fill and bidet water.
Electrical outlet: GFCI 120V within 3 feet of the toilet base (powers integrated WASHLET+ bidet).

Installation steps

Prep. Shut off the water supply, flush to empty the tank, then disconnect the supply line.
Remove the old toilet. Unbolt from the floor and scrape the old wax ring from the flange.
Set the bowl. Place a new wax ring on the flange, lower the bowl onto it, and hand-tighten bolts evenly.
Attach the tank. Bolt the tank to the bowl using the washers and bolts provided in the hardware kit.
Connect and test. Reconnect the supply line, restore water pressure, and plug into the GFCI outlet.

Frequently Asked Questions about TOTO Glaston 1G MW4723346CUFG

What is the primary difference between the Glaston two-piece model and a one-piece skirted toilet?

The Glaston features a separate tank and bowl that are bolted together during installation. This two-piece configuration can make delivery and maneuvering into small spaces easier since the weight is split across two individual pieces, while still offering the premium look of a fully skirted base once assembled.

What makes a WASHLET+ toilet different from standard bidet seat installations?

Standard bidet seats leave external water hoses and electrical cords exposed on the side of the bowl. A TOTO WASHLET+ toilet features a dedicated internal channel molded into the porcelain body, allowing the bidet lines to pass directly through the toilet base for a completely hidden, seamless look.

Can I add an Auto Flush feature to any of the bidet seat options?

No, the convenient Auto Flush upgrade option is exclusively available if you customize this system using either the premium WASHLET S7 or WASHLET S7A bidet seat configurations.

TOTO Glaston 1G WASHLET+ Two-Piece Toilet - 1.0 GPF

Ultra high-efficiency TORNADO FLUSH® at 1.0 GPF

TOTO builds the Glaston on its TORNADO FLUSH system, which the sheets describe as ultra high-efficiency at 1.0 GPF.

This is a single-flush toilet: one volume, 1.0 GPF (3.8 LPF), with no reduced-flush setting to choose between.

The flush is operated by a chrome plated trip lever on the side of the tank, and the trap measures 2-1/8" across.

CEFIONTECT® with a Completely Skirted Two-Piece Design

TOTO states on every Glaston sheet that CEFIONTECT ceramic glaze prevents debris and mold from sticking to ceramic surfaces.

The completely skirted design is described by TOTO as a sleek and understated look that is easier to clean, with no contoured trapway to wipe around.

This is a two-piece toilet: the CT472CUFGT40 elongated bowl with the ST472UA tank, and a concealed WASHLET+ supply connection.

Choosing Your WASHLET: S2, S5, S7 or S7A

The S2 is controlled from an arm panel beside the seat; the S5, S7 and S7A each come with a remote that stores settings for up to four people.

EWATER+ is the real step between the tiers: the S2 and S5 auto-clean the wand, while the S7 and S7A clean the wand and the bowl.

The S7A is the only tier with a touchless auto open/close lid, and the S7 and S7A each let you choose Auto Flush or No Auto Flush at the same time.

S2 — arm control panel
S5 — remote with four-user memory
S7 and S7A — EWATER+ on wand and bowl

EWATER+®, PREMIST® and Self-Cleaning on Every Tier

PREMIST automatically mists the bowl before each use, and the wand cleans itself inside and out before and after every use.

CLEAN RESIN keeps the wand and seat cleaner, more hygienic and effortless to maintain, on all four tiers.

Every tier has a night light; on the S7 and S7A TOTO states that it illuminates the side and the inside of the bowl.

What do you get with the TOTO Glaston 1G WASHLET+?

Every variant on this listing is the same two-piece Glaston: the CT472CUFGT40 elongated CEFIONTECT bowl with the ST472UA tank, in Cotton, plus the WASHLET+ seat you select.

It is listed at Universal Height, flushes once at 1.0 GPF (3.8 LPF), and sets on a 12" rough-in with 10" and 14" options available.

On the S7 and S7A you also choose Auto Flush or No Auto Flush. The auto-flush model carries TOTO's THU856 Auto Flush Kit and an “A” on the end of its model number; the S2 and S5 sheets list no auto-flush kit at all.

That choice is also what TOTO's ADA wording turns on for those two tiers: the sheets state ADA compliance with the autoflush feature model, or with the trip lever located on the approach side. On the S2 and S5, TOTO states it for the trip-lever installation only.
