TOTO Glaston WASHLET+ Compatibility

The TOTO Glaston WASHLET+ is an elongated front two-piece toilet system. Confirm these four things before ordering.

  • Rough-in measurement: Standard 12-inch rough-in configuration. Modular 10-inch and 14-inch rough-in configurations are available via customization.
  • Floor space: Elongated bowl requires about 18½ inches from the wall to the front of the bowl for maximum seating comfort. Confirm at least 15 inches of side clearance from the bowl centerline.
  • Water supply location: Your incoming water line connects neatly behind the skirted base. Due to the fully skirted design, ensure your supply valve clearance matches skirted toilet dimensions to accommodate the concealed connection. Standard ½-inch shutoff valves work with this toilet.
  • Drain configuration: This toilet has a floor drain only. Wall drains are not compatible; the drain must exit the floor at your specified rough-in point.

For reference: Two-piece toilets separate the tank and bowl, making the individual components lighter and easier to maneuver during installation than one-piece models.

Installation steps

  1. Turn off the water supply and flush the existing toilet to empty the tank and bowl.
  2. Disconnect the water supply line and remove the old toilet by unbolting it from the floor.
  3. Clean the floor around the drain opening and remove the old wax ring or seal.
  4. Install a new wax ring (or rubber seal) on the floor drain opening, centered on the drain.
  5. Lower the new toilet bowl onto the wax ring, aligning the bolts with the floor holes, and tighten bolts hand-tight then with a wrench.
  6. Mount the tank securely to the bowl using the included tank-to-bowl hardware and gasket.
  7. Route the WASHLET+ water supply and electrical lines through the integrated porcelain channels to achieve a concealed installation.
  8. Reconnect the water supply line, plug in the unit, and fill the tank to test for leaks around the base, tank bolts, and connection points.
  9. Install the chosen integrated WASHLET bidet seat onto the bowl mounting holes and calibrate settings via the remote or arm panel.
