TOTO KS2 Installation

TOTO WASHLET KS2 Compatibility

The TOTO WASHLET KS2 is available in two distinct sizing options: Round (SW2335#01) and Elongated (SW2336#01). Confirm these four things before ordering.

Toilet bowl shape: Match the model SKU to your toilet shape. Select SW2335#01 for Round toilets or SW2336#01 for Elongated toilets to ensure an exact fit without rim overhang.
Toilet tank clearance: Requires approximately 1.5 to 2 inches of flat clearance between the seat mounting holes and the front face of the toilet tank.
Electrical hookup: Requires a standard 120V GFCI electrical outlet located within reach of the power cord (typically on the wall beside or behind the toilet).
Water line access: Connects directly to your toilet's standard fresh water shutoff valve using the included T-connector and flexible supply hose.

For reference: Utilizing an intuitive quick-release docking station, the TOTO KS2 easily mounts onto your existing toilet bowl in under an hour with standard tools.

Installation steps

Turn off the water supply valve behind the toilet and flush the toilet to empty the tank completely.
Remove your existing toilet seat and thoroughly clean the porcelain surface around the mounting holes.
Position the quick-release catch plate over the bowl mounting holes and secure it using the provided mounting bolts.
Slide the WASHLET KS2 seat backward onto the catch plate until it locks securely into place with a click.
Disconnect the flexible water line from the bottom of your toilet tank fill valve.
Thread the included T-connector onto the tank fill valve, then reattach your main supply line to the bottom port.
Connect the WASHLET water feed hose to the side branch of the T-connector and slowly turn on the main water valve to check for leaks.
Plug the power cord into a nearby GFCI outlet and test the wash and drying functions using the attached arm control panel.

Frequently Asked Questions about TOTO KS2

Is the TOTO WASHLET KS2 a good bidet seat?

Yes, the TOTO WASHLET KS2 is an exceptional electronic bidet seat that combines TOTO’s trusted reliability with continuous tankless water heating. Users appreciate its endless warm water supply, hygienic CLEAN RESIN® construction, and simple, built-in side arm controls.

What is the main difference between the TOTO KS2 and TOTO KS5?

The primary difference is the control interface. The WASHLET KS2 features an attached side arm control panel built directly into the seat, whereas the WASHLET KS5 is operated via a separate wireless remote control with 4-user memory presets.

How does the instantaneous water heater work?

Instead of storing a small reservoir of heated water inside the seat that can run out quickly, the KS2 uses a high-efficiency heating element that instantly warms cold supply water on demand as it flows to the spray wand.

Continuous Instantaneous Warm Water

Equipped with an advanced tankless water heater, the WASHLET KS2 heats water instantly as it flows through the unit. Unlike traditional tank-type bidets that run out of warm water after 30 seconds, this system supplies continuous, uninterrupted warm water for as long as you need it.

Advanced CLEAN RESIN® Protection

TOTO’s proprietary CLEAN RESIN® technology features hydrophobic and stain-repelling properties across the seat and spray wand. This specialized barrier prevents dirt, waste, and mineral buildup from sticking, making routine maintenance quick and easy.

Seamless Easy-Clean Seat

Standard electronic bidets often feature a physical seam along the underside of the seat ring where moisture and grime collect. The KS2 features a completely seamless seat design that removes this gap, ensuring a smoother surface that wipes clean in seconds.

Convenient Side Panel Operation

The integrated side arm control panel puts full command of your wash settings right at your fingertips. From adjusting spray temperature and pressure to activating the warm air dryer or night light, all controls are straightforward and easily accessible without searching for a separate remote.

TOTO WASHLET KS2 Bidet Seat - Round (SW2335#01) & Elongated (SW2336#01)

The TOTO WASHLET KS2 brings modern Japanese luxury, energy efficiency, and instantaneous water heating technology to both round and elongated toilets. Powered by an advanced tankless heating system, the KS2 delivers continuous, unlimited warm water cleansing without running cold. Its CLEAN RESIN® construction naturally repels dirt and grime, while a seamless seat design eliminates the gap where waste usually collects. Controlled via an intuitive attached side control panel, it offers premium features like an integrated bowl night light and a warm air dryer for everyday convenience.
