TOTO WASHLET KS6 Elongated Compatibility

The TOTO WASHLET KS6 is designed for elongated toilets only. Confirm these four things before ordering:

  • Bowl shape: This model is elongated only. It will not fit round bowls. Measure your toilet bowl from the mounting bolts to the front edge; elongated bowls are typically 18½ inches.
  • Tank profile: Your tank should meet the bowl at roughly a 90° angle. French curve tanks that slope into the bowl are not compatible with the KS6.
  • Mounting hole spacing: Measure between the two seat bolt holes at the back of your bowl. They should be 5.5 inches apart.
  • Tank clearance: You need at least 2 inches of flat space between the front of the tank and the seat mounting holes.

For reference: The KS6 fits most one-piece and two-piece elongated toilets.

Installation steps

  1. Remove old seat. Clean the surface around the mounting holes.
  2. Install the seat mounting bracket.
  3. Slide the Washlet onto the bracket.
  4. Connect the hose.
  5. Turn the Washlet on.

Before you start you will need:

  • A Phillips-head & flat-head screwdriver
  • A ground-fault 120-volt outlet within three feet of your toilet
  • To turn off your water supply and flush your toilet
