NEOREST NX2 MS903CUMFX#01

The TOTO Neorest NX2 is the flagship of the NEOREST lineup, combining TOTO’s most sculpted luxury design with its most advanced bowl-cleaning technology.

What sets the NX2 apart is ACTILIGHT®, which uses UV light and a photocatalytic bowl surface to help break down microscopic organic residue between uses.

Combined with EWATER+®, PREMIST, CEFIONTECT® and TORNADO FLUSH®, it creates TOTO’s most complete automatic cleaning system.

Beyond cleaning, the NX2 delivers the full NEOREST experience with all the features you can think of.

ACTILIGHT® Self-Cleaning Bowl

UV light activates the NX2’s photocatalytic bowl surface to break down microscopic organic waste and help keep the bowl cleaner between uses.

Advanced Automatic Cleaning

PREMIST, CEFIONTECT®, EWATER+® and TORNADO FLUSH® work together to reduce sticking, rinse waste away and minimize routine bowl cleaning.

Fully Automatic Experience

The lid opens as you approach, the toilet flushes automatically after use, and the lid closes when you leave—making the NX2 almost completely hands-free.

Personalized Bidet Comfort

Adjustable water temperature, pressure and spray position, plus oscillating and pulsating wash modes, let each user customize their wash.

Instant Warm Water & Heated Comfort

Enjoy continuous warm-water washing, a heated seat and warm-air dryer without waiting for a tank to reheat.

Flagship NEOREST Design

The NX2’s sculpted one-piece silhouette conceals the plumbing and bidet technology for one of the cleanest, most luxurious designs in the NEOREST lineup.

NEOREST NX2 Compatibility

The TOTO Neorest NX2 is a one-piece elongated smart toilet with integrated bidet. Confirm these four things before ordering:

Rough-in measurement: 12-inch standard. No 10-inch or 14-inch adapter is available for this model.
Floor clearance: 21 inches in front of the bowl, 15 inches on each side.
Water supply: Standard ½-inch connection at the base of the toilet.
Electrical outlet: GFCI 120V within 3 feet; dedicated 15-amp circuit recommended for integrated bidet and heated seat.

Installation steps

Prep. Shut off the water supply, flush to empty the tank, then disconnect the supply line.
Remove the old toilet. Unbolt from the floor and scrape the old wax ring from the flange.
Set the wax ring. Place a new wax ring on the flange, centered over the drain.
Seat the new toilet. Lower onto the flange, press down firmly, and hand-tighten the bolts evenly.
Connect and test. Reconnect the supply line, restore water, and plug into the dedicated GFCI outlet.

Frequently Asked Questions about NEOREST NX2

What is the difference between neorest NX1 and NX2?

The only major difference is that the NX2 includes ACTILIGHT® technology built into the lid, while the NX1 does not. Aside from this cleaning feature, both models share the exact same shape, flushing power, and comfort options.

What are the features of TOTO NX2?

The NX2 features a dual-flush Tornado Flush system, ACTILIGHT and CEFIONTECT bowl coatings, EWATER+ and PREMIST water rinses, an automatic lid and flush, a heated seat, warm water washing, a warm air dryer, and a built-in night light.

Why is TOTO Neorest priced higher?

TOTO Neorest models carry a premium price because they combine advanced integrated bidet technology, high-end materials, automated rinsing features, and comfort-focused design into a single luxury fixture.

Is the Toto Neorest NX2 a smart choice for a bidet toilet?

Yes. The NX2 is an excellent choice for anyone looking for a fully integrated toilet that offers advanced automated features, reliable performance, everyday comfort, and water-efficient operation.

ACTILIGHT® — The Bowl Cleans Itself Between Uses

ACTILIGHT is the feature that separates the NX2 from every other toilet TOTO builds, and it works when the room is empty.

The ceramic carries a photocatalytic glaze that TOTO describes as especially durable and hydrophilic.

Once the toilet lid is closed, the integrated UV light turns on for an hour.

The UV light activates the photocatalyst and decomposes waste particles, a process TOTO calls a natural one that uses no chemicals — just light, oxygen and water.

What ACTILIGHT changes day to day:

A photocatalytic layer TOTO calls especially durable and hydrophilic
An hour of UV after the lid closes, with no button to press
TOTO states it reduces the use of harsh detergents
CEFIONTECT® glaze underneath it, minimizing what sticks in the first place

Ultra High-Efficiency TORNADO FLUSH®

The NX2 flushes with TOTO's ultra high-efficiency TORNADO FLUSH system at 1.0 GPF / 0.8 GPF. The dual flush is automatic, so the toilet decides nothing you have to think about.

A back-up manual flush is built in for power outages, which is the question every buyer of an electric toilet asks before they buy.

PREMIST wets the bowl before each use so waste has less to hold on to.

Flushing, in numbers:

1.0 GPF / 0.8 GPF dual flush
Auto flush, with a back-up manual flush for power outages

Cleansing and Comfort Without a Waiting Period

Washing is gentle aerated warm water, front and rear, with oscillating and pulsating features.

Spray position, water temperature and water pressure are all adjustable, and the water temperature range runs to 104ºF.

An instantaneous water heater supplies continuous warm water rather than a tank that runs out partway through.

The warm air dryer offers five variable temperature settings and the seat is heated with its own temperature control.

Comfort you set once and forget:

Continuous warm water from an instantaneous heater
Warm air dryer, five variable settings, up to 140ºF
Heated seat, 82ºF to 97ºF
Automatic air deodorizer, listed by TOTO as an O2 Deodorizer

The Luxury Is in What You Never Have to Do

The lid opens and closes touchlessly as you approach and leave.

The remote is TOTO's ergonomic stick-style design and holds personalized memory settings for up to four users, so a shared bathroom stops being a negotiation.

The seat is seamless, which eliminates the gap where dirt collects, and the whole unit is a low profile one-piece skirted design with no exposed trapway to wipe around.

A night light illuminates behind the toilet and inside the bowl.

Living with the NX2:

Touchless auto open/close lid
Memory settings for up to four users
Seamless seat and a fully skirted one-piece body
Automatic and programmable energy saving systems
