TOTO Neorest NX1 Dual Flush Bidet Toilet Compatibility

The TOTO Neorest NX1 is a one-piece smart bidet toilet with an elongated bowl. Confirm these four things before ordering:

  • Rough-in measurement: 12 inches standard. No 10-inch or 14-inch adapter is available for this model.
  • Floor clearance: 21 inches in front of the bowl, 15 inches on each side.
  • Water supply: Standard ½-inch connection at the base of the toilet.
  • Electrical outlet: GFCI 120V within 3 feet; dedicated 15-amp circuit recommended (powers integrated bidet seat and heated functions).

Installation steps

  1. Prep. Shut off the water supply, flush to empty the tank, then disconnect the supply line.
  2. Remove the old toilet. Unbolt from the floor and scrape the old wax ring from the flange.
  3. Set the wax ring. Place a new wax ring on the flange, centered over the drain.
  4. Seat the new toilet. Lower onto the flange, press down firmly, and hand-tighten the bolts evenly.
  5. Connect and test. Reconnect the supply line, restore water, and plug into the GFCI outlet.

The NX1 uses TOTO's HYBRID ECOLOGY SYSTEM, which TOTO describes as an advanced pressure-independent electric flushing system delivering exceptionally powerful, optimized performance.

It is paired with ultra high-efficiency TORNADO FLUSH, and TOTO states the combination provides powerful waste removal and enhanced bowl cleaning at 1.0/0.8 GPF.

A Bowl Built To Stay Clean

CEFIONTECT ceramic glaze minimizes waste from sticking to porous ceramic surfaces, and PREMIST automatically mists the bowl before each use so there is already a film of water in the way.

After every use EWATER+ auto-cleans the wand, the bowl and the under-seat, and the wand cleans itself inside and out both before and after.

Warm Water That Does Not Run Out

The NX1 washes with gentle aerated warm water front and rear, with oscillating and pulsating features, and lets you adjust spray position, water temperature and water pressure independently of one another.

Because the heater is instantaneous rather than a reservoir, the warm water is continuous.

Drying is a warm air dryer with five variable temperature settings, and the heated seat carries its own temperature control.

What do you get with the TOTO NEOREST NX1?

The TOTO NEOREST NX1 is a complete integrated smart toilet, with the bidet, heated seat, dryer, deodorizer and automatic functions built directly into the fixture. There is no separate WASHLET seat to purchase or install.

The NX1 includes the wireless remote control and is finished in TOTO Cotton White as model MS902CUMFG#01.

For installation, plan for a 12" rough-in, a water connection and a nearby 120V GFCI outlet. The NX1 has a 3.9-foot power cord and a seat height of 17-5/16".
