TOTO NEOREST WX2 CWT9548CEMFX#01

The TOTO NEOREST WX2 combines the sleek, floating look of a wall-hung toilet with TOTO’s most advanced NEOREST cleaning and comfort technology.

Its standout feature is ACTILIGHT®, which uses UV light and a photocatalytic bowl surface to help break down microscopic organic residue between uses.

Combined with EWATER+®, PREMIST, CEFIONTECT® and TORNADO FLUSH®, it delivers TOTO’s most complete cleaning system in a wall-hung design.

The concealed in-wall tank keeps plumbing out of sight and allows the toilet to be mounted at a customized height.

The WX2 also includes automatic lid opening and flushing, continuous warm-water washing, a heated seat, warm-air dryer, deodorizer and personalized settings for up to four users.

ACTILIGHT® Self-Cleaning Technology

UV light activates the photocatalytic bowl surface to help break down microscopic organic waste between uses.

Sleek Wall-Hung Design

Creates a clean, floating look while keeping the floor underneath open and easy to clean.

Adjustable Installation Height

The concealed in-wall system allows installation from roughly 15" to 19" to suit the bathroom and user.

Cleans Before & After Every Use

PREMIST, EWATER+, CEFIONTECT and ACTILIGHT work together to help keep the bowl cleaner.

Fully Hands-Free

The lid opens and closes automatically, and the toilet flushes after use.

Unlimited Warm-Water Comfort

Enjoy continuous warm-water washing, a heated seat and warm-air dryer.

NEOREST WX2 Installation

TOTO NEOREST WX2 Compatibility

Plan the TOTO Neorest WX2 for the renovation phase when walls are open. This elongated, wall-hung smart toilet requires in-wall framing, carrier system, and electrical infrastructure.

Wall framing: Install 2x4 or 2x6 wall studs to support the carrier system and toilet weight during rough-in.
In-wall carrier system: TOTO in-wall tank and carrier bracket must be secured within the wall cavity before drywall closure.
Electrical outlet: GFCI 120V outlet within 3 feet of the toilet location powers the integrated smart bidet seat.
Drain configuration: Wall-mounted drain connection; coordinate with plumber before framing to set the correct height and angle.

Frequently Asked Questions about NEOREST WX2

Which neorest feature is exclusive to the NX2 and WX2 models?

The exclusive feature found only on the NEOREST NX2 and WX2 models is ACTILIGHT® technology. This cleaning system uses light, oxygen, and water to help break down waste and keep the bowl cleaner automatically.

What is the difference between Neorest WX1 and WX2?

The main difference between the NEOREST WX1 and WX2 is that the WX2 includes ACTILIGHT® cleaning technology, while the WX1 does not. Aside from ACTILIGHT® and pricing, both models share nearly the same design, comfort, and advanced wash features.

Does the TOTO Neorest WX2 have a heated seat?

Yes. The TOTO NEOREST WX2 includes a heated seat with adjustable temperature control for added comfort.

Nothing Meets The Floor

A wall-hung NEOREST changes the room rather than the fixture. The WT175MA tank system carries everything inside the wall, so the floor runs unbroken underneath and a mop goes where it never could before.

The carrier adjusts through a 15 to 19 inch mounting height, which means the seat height is a decision your installer makes rather than one the box makes for you. TOTO rates the system to support up to 880 lbs.

What wall-hung actually buys you:

An unbroken floor line under the bowl
Mounting height adjustable from 15 to 19 inches
ADA compliant when the finished seat height lands between 17 and 19 inches
Rated to support up to 880 lbs

ACTILIGHT® Keeps Working On An Empty Room

ACTILIGHT is the one feature that separates the WX2 from the WX1, and it does its work on an empty room. Underneath it sits a photocatalytic glaze TOTO calls especially durable and hydrophilic.

Once the toilet lid is closed, the integrated UV light turns on for an hour. The UV light activates the photocatalyst and decomposes waste particles — a process TOTO calls natural, using no chemicals, just light, oxygen and water.

The cleaning you never see happen:

An hour of UV every time the lid closes
A photocatalytic glaze TOTO calls durable and hydrophilic
Less need for harsh detergents, in TOTO's own assessment
CEFIONTECT® glaze underneath, so less sticks to begin with

A Flush That Ignores Your Water Pressure

The WX2 flushes with HYBRID ECOLOGY SYSTEM, which TOTO describes as an advanced pressure-independent electric flushing system delivering exceptionally powerful, optimized performance. It is the same flush engine the WX1 carries.

Paired with ultra high-efficiency TORNADO FLUSH, TOTO states the combination provides powerful waste removal and enhanced bowl cleaning at 1.2/0.8 GPF. Auto flush handles it, and a back-up manual flush covers power outages.

Flushing, in numbers:

1.2 GPF / 0.8 GPF (4.5 / 3.0 LPF) dual flush
Electric flushing that TOTO calls pressure-independent
Auto flush with a back-up manual flush for power outages
2-1/4 inch trap diameter with a 2 inch trap seal

Warm Water, Warm Seat, Nothing To Touch

Washing is gentle aerated warm water, front and rear, with oscillating and pulsating features and independently adjustable spray position, temperature and pressure. The heater is instantaneous, so the warm water does not run out partway through.

The lid opens and closes touchlessly, the stick-style remote holds settings for four people, and a night light illuminates beneath the toilet and inside of the bowl. The seat is seamless, with no gap where dirt collects.

Living with the WX2:

Warm air dryer with five variable settings, up to 140ºF
Heated seat running 82ºF to 97ºF
Memory settings for up to four people
Automatic and programmable energy saving systems
Three Year Limited residential warranty

What do you get with the TOTO NEOREST WX2?

The TOTO NEOREST WX2 is sold as a complete wall-hung smart toilet system, including the bowl, integrated bidet top unit, concealed in-wall tank and nickel flush plate.

Because the tank and carrier are installed inside the wall, the WX2 requires more planning than a traditional floor-mounted toilet. The in-wall system should be positioned and installed before the wall is closed, with access to the required water supply and electrical connection.
