14 Inch Rough-In Toilets

A 14 inch rough-in means the centre of your floor drain sits 14 inches from the finished wall, rather than the usual 12. It is uncommon, and usually the result of a remodel. These models can be fitted to it.

Which series offer 14 inch

Not every TOTO range does. Aquia IV, Aimes, Legato, Aurora, Carlyle II, Carolina II, Vespin II, Redington, Glaston, Soirée, Guinevere and Nexus all offer a 14 inch Unifit adapter.

Drake, Drake II, UltraMax, UltraMax II, Connelly, Supreme II and Neorest do not offer 14 inch at all.

Adapters are not interchangeable

The Unifit part number differs by series — an adapter for an Aquia IV will not fit a Carlyle II. Tell us the model you want and we will match the right part.

How a 14 inch rough-in works

Almost no toilet is built for a 14 inch rough-in as standard. Instead, TOTO makes a Unifit adapter that changes where the outlet sits, and it is fitted during installation.

That means you buy the standard toilet plus the adapter for your series. The adapter cannot be added later without lifting the toilet, so order it at the same time.

Measure before you order

Measure from the finished wall — not the baseboard — to the centre of the bolts holding your toilet down. If your toilet has four bolts, use the back pair. A reading close to 14 inches means you need one of these models.
